Yes, those Mute Swans are HORRIBLE birds to have around. I
understand many folks like to see something new, but nothing good at
all has come from those things becoming established around the
Delaware and Chesapeake bays. Habitat degredation, reduced nesting
productivity of other species, reduced numbers of wintering
waterfowl, aesthetic issues (crap on golf courses and beaches) loss
of money, and pinched butts of birders who get too close. I hope
they never become established here.
