[TN-Bird] Peregrine again

Just a few minutes ago, an immature Peregrine Falcon just went zooming by my
office window at eye level. It was heading due west just south of West End
Ave. at the Broadway split here on Music Row outside downtown Nashville. This
is presumably the same one that I saw here about 10 days ago; it's a very large
bird so I assume it is a female. This time, it passed so close to my window
that it momentarily stunned me in mid-sentence while I was on the phone; it
couldn't have been more than 25 feet away. It's quite a striking bird, and
very heavily streaked underneath. The flight direction is virtually the same
as when I saw it before, albeit this time it was flying much faster and more
directly; on the previous occasion, it peeled off into some lazy thermaling
around a tall building.
Clearly, it has taken up residence, but for how long?
regards,
