While on my way to work Sunday morning 06 January at 1005 hours I spotted an
immature Glossy Ibis at the Candies Creek Unit of the Chickamauga WMA in Meigs
County. The bird was feeding in a shallow area on the North side of Highway 306
with some Mallards. The bird had a glossy look but still alot of brown on the
body the neck was still showing some white and the bill had a light gray color.
