The Ross's Goose that Nell Moore reported at Cove Lake (Campbell County) 
State Park on Jan. 10 was still there this afternoon (Sat.), associating 
with a white domestic goose and several Canadas.  One of the Bald Eagles (an 
adult) put in a brief appearance over the cove and suddenly the Coots were 
hugging the shoreline.  The only other birds seen on the water were Gadwalls 
(lots), a few Mallards, many Ring Billed Gulls and a Fishing Crow--that's an 
American Crow that seemed to think it was a gull, repeatedly diving down to 
the water.
