Location:     TN 2 Mem, Riverport Rd Ponds / Swamp

Observation date:     1/5/07

Notes:     Quick stop to check things out. Additional rain has brought the
water levels up considerably close to normal in all ponds and sloughs. Lack
of birds(ducks) though.

Location:     TN 2 Mem,TVA PONDS

Observation date:     1/5/07

Notes:     The big float of birds returned. With the exception of some
ringnecks all the birds were scaup. Iv'e reported all lesser but some in the
back portion of the float could have been Greater Scaup since they seemed
bigger than the rest (about a dozen of them). No scope today. Cormorants and
gulls still hanging out on the rear perch of the big pond along the far
shore. A few ducks back there also. Notable missing were the Grebes and high
numbers of Coots that have normally been here.
