FreeLists / tn-bird / [TN-Bird] No Long-Tailed Duck today/ but Canvasback- Horned Grebe

Cove Lake State Park, Campbell County, TN

I looked several times today at Cove Lake for the Long-tailed Duck seen
there yesterday. I did not find it. All ducks were skittish today flying
around alot from place to place. 
 
Present today were good numbers of Hooded Mergansers along
 with a  CANVASBACK  (Male) , Lesser Scaup and a HORNED GREBE- this
winters
first of these for Cove.
