There is indeed a crow roost along Middlebrook Pike between the tank
farm and I-640 in Knoxville.  Charlie Muise was working the area to
the north of there on Saturday's Knoxville CBC and had something like
2000 birds leaving to the north from the roost.  Maybe multiply that
by 4 (N,S,E & W)?

I haven't been by lately, but in past years there was an even larger
crow roost in East Knoxville near the Rutledge Pike exit on I-40.

Largest I've seen was about 10 years ago in Morristown (Hamblen Co.,
TN) near the mall and Walter State CC.  30,000 - 50,000 crows.
