Ring-necked Duck (27), Cherokee Valley Road at Cherokee Lake, approx 33.95 N  
85.9 W

Red-headed Woodpecker, Catoosa Springs, approx 34.9 N 85.06 W

There are a number of small ponds and wet fields along Cherokee Valley Road, 
Keith Salem Road, and Friendship Lane, easily checked without getting out of 
the car.  We found an active group of 10+ Snipe in one wet field.
