DJ,

I don't believe I overlooked anything, and I wasn't drawing my
conclusions based on a single post. My opinions are my own; you (and
others) are welcome to post as you see fit.

Thanks,

Todd.

accounts

I agree with you that it takes time and effort to reply to someone's
question, and we all appreciate that. It is true people like to know
who they talk to, and a Yahoo or other non-specific email account may
last much longer than a company email address in there days. Did you
overlook something when making a conclusion just based on one abused
post?

My point is that it shouldn't matter whether someone use their company
email as an identity or another non-specific email accounts as long as
he/she raise an appropriate question to this list, a lots of
professionals are willing to share their thoughts and help others and
you are one of them as well.

Thanks,

DJ

That little segment we had just before Thanksgiving with our
anonymous
friend fishing for tool issues unsettled me. I'd hate to think
someone
would abuse the list in that way, but there was definitely
something
about that post that just wasn't right.

List etiquette is Ray's call and I'll defer to him. I, however,
rather
doubt I'll be posting more replies to anonymous questions.

        Todd.

Why would we care about their name or companies? This is a
place for
technical discussions only unless someone want it for commercial
        purpose.

        Thanks,
