I agree fully having a work email address on this list, unfortunately I'm
unemployed and do not have any company to affiliate with hence my home
account. I did use my work account when I was employed, but I still want to
be in the SI loop.  Besides I think from reading a message from unknown
accounts, you pretty much know when and when not to reply !!

I agree - it encourages accountability and a more civil behavior. (Besides
what are they trying to hide?)

Until that's enforced, I have a policy of never responding to an si-list
question from someone who won't give their name or identify the company they
work for.

(Other than that, and I know Ed agrees, the SIList is one on the coolest
things goin' for us folks who make a living studying and predicting the
behavior of noise.)
