[SI-LIST] Crystal Oscillator i/p & o/p nodes

Hi All,
In crystal oscillator ckt with inverter as feedback
element, the i/p node of inverter is considered to be
more noise immune, while output node has higher
output. I can understand that, due to inverter gain,
output node has higher signal value, but why is that
i/p node is more noise immune compared to output node
of inverter?
Thanks in Advance,
Regards,
Partha!
