[SI-LIST] Regarding all the 'book price' traffic

Hey guys, let's tone down the rhetoric a bit (and even better yet, end
the thread) on the
comments about Lee's new book.

I haven't read the book yet, but based on comments by those who have and
knowing
Lee's background, I'm sure it will turn out to be a most useful book.
Comments to the
list on the books technical merits and usefulness are one thing, but
those who have
chosen to resort to name calling and personal insults because they don't
agree with
others comments are quite something else.

Since we have such a widespread and diverse list membership we need to
remember
that not everyone comes from the same economic background. What might be
overly
pricey to some may be just normal to others. If you disagree with
someone's comments
asserting the book is well worth the price, fine, but please don't
respond with insults
and namecalling. That stuff should have been left far behind in the
sandboxes of our youth.
