I will not comment on the price of the book, as I have had the luxury of my
company purchasing it for me but.....
As a professional high speed PCB designer, I will say that in reading the
book, I have found it to be an extremely valuable resource compared to other
$100+ textbooks have purchased. The pratical approaches to design that are
explained in the book help to clarify a lot of the confusion that may stem
from reading "theoretical" textbooks. The book offers a different and, in
my opinion, enlightening view of the electrical and physical world of PCB
design up to the 2-3 Gbps range. I would also like to point out that I am
in no way connected to or influenced by Lee Ritchey. I have been fortunate
enough to recently take his high speed design class which covers many of the
topics discussed in the book.
Thanks for reading.
Chris
