[SI-LIST] Re: Distribution Lists on EMC, Signal Integrity and Related Fields

Does anybody know of a respectable source for PCB Power EMI filtering design
(on the primary side of a DCDC).

I ran through so many articles disproving one another and claiming their
methode is the one that works, except of few obvious key points (like - keep
you loops short etc).

So far I used my understanding of this to lay my boards out and it worked so
far and even passed the tests, but...I want some nationwide recognized
authority to back my designs (or to suggest better one).

Any appnotes (I already have SynQor's ones), or practical books suggestions
will be appreciated.

Also: the surge protection for telecom systems - another topic I need a
literature on. There are too many different standards and requirements, that
being put together invalidate one another or make the protection next to
impossible (like - absorb 10j pulse on a reasonable size board with low
profile).

Thanx in advance, Mike Nudelman.
