Hi
I am new to signal integrity analysis.
I came across the value of Zo = 50 ohms in many design notes.
Q1) can anyone tell me why this value is chosen?
Q2)why this value cannot be any other value say, 100 ohms.
Q3)Is the value of 50 ohms has anything to do with the PCB
maufacturing process?

regards
pawan kalyan
