I'm not familiar with the current Orcad Capture program
(last used Orcad about 12 years ago), but from your description
it sounds like perhaps Node GND is not being associated with
Spice node 0 (the global ground reference). If that is so, it
would be floating as would all other nodes that are connected
to it.
Note that a floating node is different than a unconnected node.
Try explicitly tying node GND to node 0 (or figure out how
to make GND default to node 0)
