While this doesn't address Charles Grasso's original need for
an NT solution, I thought that others might be interested in
HSVIEW if they hadn't heard of it yet.

HSVIEW is a Unix/Linux program that is Freeware. It was developed
at the University of Adelaide down unda'. (There is also a follow
on version called Koala that has been commercialized $$).

HSVIEW runs on Solaris, Solarix X86, Dec, and Linux plaforms (no Windoze)

Check the following URL for info and download:

 http://www.eleceng.adelaide.edu.au/Personal/moini/hsview/

It can save images in the following formats:

        EPS
        Idraw
        Xfig
        Tgif
        MIF
        PDF
        DXF
        GNU
        PS
        JAVA
        Matlab

In general the program is somewhat similar to AWAVES. In some areas
it has less capability, in some areas it has more. Caveat Emptor...
 (but it _is_ free)
