Issue 3 of GR-253-CORE, Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) Transport
Systems:
Common Generic Criteria, replaces Issue 2, and is a module of TSGR, FR-440.
This
document also replaces GR-1377-CORE.
GR-253-CORE, Issue 3 contains the Telcordia view of Synchronous Optical
Network
(SONET) generic criteria. In general, Issue 3 expands on, and in some cases
changes the criteria contained in GR-253-CORE, Issue 2 and its subsequent
Revisions 1 and 2. In addition, it replaces GR-1377-CORE, which previously
provided generic criteria in support of SONET equipment operating at the
OC-192
rate.
