Hi Jack:
To date, I have mainly applied the UltraCAD Bypass Impedance Calculator to
analyze what combination of
capacitors can yield a flat low PDS impedance over a wide frequency bandwidth
just like
what is explained in Doug Brooks paper , "ESR and Bypass Capacitor Self
Resonant Behavior How to Select Bypass Caps".
Your question is a good one. I hope some people who have used that tool
more extensively will share their experiences.
