I really don't understand the problem you are having but just to give my two
cents is that you would rather have a via on your LVDS trace than have them
mismatched in length. A number of times having vias are unavoidable anyway
especially if you are routing using stripline.
I have used vias on LVDS traces running upto 480Mbs without any problems.
Mismatch usually results in skew and 3-4 mm ( 150 mils)is a fairly big
difference for LVDS.

Hi,
I hope someone can help me here.
I am using RJ45 connector for sending and receiving LVDS signals. The
standard pins for the RJ45 is not straightforward and I have two options
of 1 - using via for the LVDS signals
2 - having different track length for LVDS signals
I am not sure which one is better. The frequency for LVDS signals are
230 MHz. The different length in option 2 would be 3-4 mm.
