Once you have loaded the incomplete *.tr0 file into Avanwaves you can watch
the progress of your simulation by updating the waveform display (just hit
CTRL+u).
Updating of big results file may take quite a while...

I understand your frustration.  It usually takes 4 hours to run a full 127
bit 2.5 GB/s simulation on my machine.  I have found that Avanwaves can view
incomplete *.tr0 files, so there is no need for extra .OPTIONS other than
POST.  You can open the partialy written *.tr0 file while HSPICE is still
running so you don't loose any time on a good simulation.

Hello,

I am using Avanti! Hspice tool for 2.5G serial data transmission
analysis. It takes very long time to generate to enough data to
create eye diagrams. Is there any .OPTION parameter that I can 
use to save, write or print transient data immediately after they
are generated. By default, I have to wait until the simulation is 
finished to get the data available. Sometimes I kill or stop
the simulation after waiting for several hours and losing patient. 
But I would like to see the results upto the point when it was stopped.

Any help or comments would be welcome. Thanks
