[SI-LIST] Re: Long trace open on the both ends

Hi All,
I would like to thank all of you who responded to my query on the long
trace open at both ends. Broadly speaking, I received the following
recommendations:

1) It should not cause any problem, so leave the trace as is.
2) Terminate the trace at both ends with its characteristic impedance.
3) Simulate it thoroughly to determine its impact.

I need to release the design in a couple of days, so I have decided to
include in the design the pads for terminating resistors. I will simulate
it later and then decide whether to populate the resistors.
