Even though reset durations may be long, you still need to bring 
everybody out of reset in a timely fashion. Otherwise some parts of your 
circuit may be running and some still in reset. If your circuits are not 
tolerant of that, then you could wind up with problems. I've seen it 
happen. Thus the asserting edge of reset might be slow, but the negating 
edge may need to be faster.
