[SI-LIST] PCI Question
- From: "Gary Levin" <garyl@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Has anyone had experience using Z0 of 51 ohms for PCI. Many devices only spec.
max capacitance.
4.4.3.3. Impedance
The unloaded characteristic impedance (Z0) of the shared PCI signal traces on
the add-in
card shall be controlled to be in the 60 . - 100 . range if the device input
capacitance
(Cin) exceeds 8 pF. If Cin is 8 pF or less, the range for Z0 is 51 . - 100 ..
The trace
velocity must be between 150 ps/inch and 190 ps/inch.

Gary Levin
