I used Framemaker for ten years on SGI, Sun and MacOS.
It was my favorite technical writing package.
Unix was my favorite OS...
Ah well, time moves on...

For the last four years or so, I've had to use
MS Word for all technical papers published=20
internally or externally. For instance, all of
the technical working groups and technical=20
journals I've published in require MS word for
collaborative editing.

That said, I'm looking for a drawing package
to run beside WinWordXP. What do people think=20
of SmartDraw vs. Visio vs. <other> for technical
drawing (charts, block diagrams) for figures=20
in WinWordXP?
