I'm unsure of the actual distance but you want to keep your magnetics as close
to the RJ45s as possible otherwise you may get unwanted noise on the lines
after the magnetics have done their filtering.

Subject: [SI-LIST] Maximum length of 1000basetT diff pair traces from PHYs to
magnet ics
Is there a guideline (or a process of determining) maximum length of 1000baseT
diff pair traces between PHY and magnetics?
I want to know how far back from RJ45 connector (with integrated magnetics) I
can put my PHYs.
Thank you
