Hi ,

I have a question for you.I have a board (2.5 gb/s).my
stack up was :

layer1:gnd
layer2: gnd
layer3:sig
layer4:gnd
layer5:sig
layer6:gnd
layer7:sig
layer8:gnd
layer9:sig
layer10: gnd
layer11: sig
layer12: gnd

my all +48 v was in all my signal layers. now i need
to add 25 mil thickness. before it was 125 mil. now it
is 145 mil and need to add two layers for +-48v. my
question are:

1.I am thinking I will add two gnd layers and put my
+- 48v there. do you think it will be different to add
th48v power plane to the gnd and to the signal
layers.I am wondering if any signal integrity tools
could analyze that and give me good report.

2.where I should add this layers. in bottom or top.if
I will add this bottom I will add via stub. so I think
top will be best to avoid via stub. or should I need
to concern anyother points. please advice me. thanks
for your time.

Regards
ma
