If you are stuck on Windows, then install http://www.cygwin.com/

Subject: [SI-LIST] Re: hierarchical schematic editor?
The gEDA Project has a schematic editor called "gschem" with which you
can create schematics for subsequent netlisting to hierarchical SPICE:
http://geda.seul.org/
Here are some notes I wrote long ago about how to use gschem and
gnetlist to create SPICE netlists:
http://www.brorson.com/gEDA/SPICE/intro.html
Here's some info put together by Peter Wolf about using gEDA for
ASIC design, including materials about using it for SPICE:
http://www.easyasic.de/
(Look under the "Schematic Entry" section.)
By the way, gEDA is a Linux-only project, so if you're stuck on
Windows, then you're SOL. :-(
Cheers,
Stuart
