Could you use the NUMDGT option to printout a few
example parameters/values to see if the theory
works?
For example, set up 1.0 Amp current driver into
a double-precision resistor (or your best attempt
to get double-precision resistor).
Then print out the voltage across the resistor
using NUMDGT to see if all the digits carried
forward in the form of voltage.
Alternatively, if NUMDGT is not working as expected,
you could add an ideal voltage-adder, and substract
a voltage that is equivalent to your most significant
digits, thus leaving the least significant digits
to print out.
