Google Server - Hardware Power Engineer - Mountain View, California
The ideal candidate will have strong hardware design and system
architecture, especially in board level dc-dc conversion.

Responsibilities:

  1. Electrical design of dc-dc converters.
  2. Layout of high density dc-dc converters.
  3. Analysis of operational performance.
  4. Power flow, short circuit, stability, and post-transient analyses.
  5. Evaluation and testing.

Requirements:

  1. Recent board level power conversion work. +7 years of total experience.
  2. Recent electric power conversion work on concepts and selection
of conversion equipment .
  3. Solid harmonic analysis, fault analysis, circuit protection, and
system stability.
  4. Recent work with power electronics design with regards to analog
fundamentals.
 5. BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
(PhD a plus if some candidate has some years of experience in board
level power conversion dc-dc).
 6. Outstanding recommendations of your work in power design.
