List-Friends,
FCI's development engineering group is expanding, and I have another opening
on my Signal Integrity team for an interconnect signal integrity engineer.
(I appreciated the response to my similar posting last year. We actually
hired someone who responded to that SI-List posting.)

Our team focuses on high-speed signal transmission through, and EMI from,
connectors, cables, cable assemblies, and PCBs. We support FCI's product
development teams in all regions of the world with modeling & simulation, as
well as high-speed testing. We work closely with SI teams in Europe and
Asia on technology development and methodology improvement. My U.S. team
also works directly with customers and supports standards committee
activities. We partner with silicon, PCB, and materials vendors to develop
reference designs, and support various high-speed trade shows.

Our engineering facility is located in beautiful central Pennsylvania, near
Harrisburg (the Connector Capital of the World). Many leading interconnect
companies have design centers in this area.

The ideal candidate for this position would have experience in some or all
of the following:

HSPICE
Ansoft 2 & 3D field solvers
Ansoft HFSS
CST Microwave Studio
Matlab
Time-domain reflectometers
4-port network analyzers
PCB design
EMI/EMC

If you are interested, please contact me off-list.
best regards,

Dana J. Bergey
Manager, Signal Integrity
FCI Communications, Data, & Consumer Div.
