[SI-LIST] Cost of Performance of Micro Vias

To all,

Does anyone have a good understanding of what the incremental
cost of micro vias are when building a PCB?

Can you equate it to a number of layers saved in equivalent cost?
By this I mean if I had a 12 layer board without micro vias and
when using them the number of layers where reduced to 10 would
that pay for the incremental cost? This is just an example. I don't
really know how many layers will be saved but if someone has some
experience here info would be appreciated.

Also, whats the overall SI impact of microvias? Is there some upper
range of frequency they limit?

Any help is appreciated.
