I have not been able to find it at any of the stores here in San Francisco. I just checked B&H and it looks like they are not even listing it. This is too bad.. I love the apx 100 / Rodinal combination and the Rodinal / anything combination.
Does anyone recommend another combination of film and dev or just a dev that gives rich and beautiful tones? The slight grain with 400 speed films didn't bother me too much.

I live in Illinois but don't buy Rodinal from Calumet because they classify it as a hazardous material - have to pick it up in person, and they close before I get off work...

Hi,
Anyone having trouble finding rodinal in your local store?

Here in the UK I have been using R09 developer, which is marketed as the original formulation of Rodinal. Readily available from several manufacturers, I have used it interchageably with modern Rodinal. A US source is:

Sadly APX 100 would appear to be a film of the past, but I have found Foma Creative 200 (also available from the above supplier) to be an excellent substitute.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Richard
