I have an 8x10 Horizontal De Vere, which is basically the standard 8x10
column mounted horizontally on a cabinet, and I use a 240mm lens. The
lens fits on an extension board with approximately 1" extension. You
need a longer board. Call KHB in Canada and talk to them. They'll know
what you need. I have an 8x10 manual around here somewhere, but I
haven't been able to find it. If I do, I post what it says. You could
also email/call Odyssey Sales, which distributed De Vere. Their
response to email is spotty.
Good luck,
Peter

I was just about to mention this. I'm not familiar with the Devere
enlager, but it sounds as if your bellows doesn't have enough draw.

Shannon, for an 8x10 negative at 1:1 enlarging ratio, the
lens-to-paper distance will be 600mm and the lens-to-negative
distance will be the same. Measured from the lens node. Flange
distances will be close to that.
