Subject: [pure-silver] Image Permanence
I recently revisted a site that has good content and found
a new posting on image permanence which others may find
interesting.

Another brief comment. The above includes the paper by
Lee, Wood, and Drago, which I have courtesy of Dr. Nishmura.
In it the authors mention that even when Selenium toning was
used that the resistance of the iamges to oxidation was
greater when a small residue of Hypo was left in the
emulsion. I asked Dr. Nishimura about this and he said IPI
was aware of it and that it was not a factor in the failure
of current KRST to provide image protection.
