Just a word of caution. Just because the film in different formats have
the same name is no guarantee that they are same emulsion. IIRC, for
some years the Plus-X in LF was different from the Plus-X in the other
formats.

Subject: [pure-silver] Transition from MF to LF

I am incorporating LF in my photography, moving up from
MF. For MF film I use small tanks with a capacity of 1 or 2
rolls of 120. For LF 4X5, I have secured an HP Combi-Plan
daylight tank with a capacity of 6 4X5 sheets.

Agitation in both cases is by traditional 'tipping'.

Question: Can I anticipate that development times worked out
for the 120 film will carry over to the 4X5, or is retesting needed.
Primary film is TMAX 100.

Thanks

Len Eselson
