Rick, All,

"I would like to see a screen reader that could be
run completely from a CD, without the need to install it, unless one wanted
to."

Agreed. I'd find this extremely useful. I spend quite a bit of time
lecturing and demonstrating the practicalities of using a screen reader to
web developers and managers. Being able to run a screen reader off the cuff
like this would improve the ease of doing so immeasurably.

Tink.

Hi John and all,

I am for the screen reader for Longhorn. I was just throwing out some other
ideas.

Here is a thought. When I travel, I may want to use another computer.
However, I don't particularly want to install and uninstall a screen reader,
worry about keys, etc. I would like to see a screen reader that could be
run completely from a CD, without the need to install it, unless one wanted
to.
