Hi all,

I am a screen reader user and think developing one such as being discussed
here is exciting. However, there are more people who would benefit from
screen magnification and not just a small magnifier that is moved around the
screen, as is currently available in Windows XP and 2000.

By a screen magnifier I mean something that does the whole screen and that
offers features such as changing colour contrasts.

With the world's aging population ever on the increase, the number of people
with vision loss is increasing too. Many of these will never lose so much
sight as to need to rely on a screen reader. Maybe we wouldn't need
something that goes up to sixteen times magnification, as that makes it too
difficult to work on the screen.

Just my thoughts.

Regards,
Lyn
