Hi All,
We have a database running on Unix server. We plan to have an application that
will run on Windows server to execute some DBA tasks on the Database on the
Unix server. It is possible to have only those database accounts with DBA
privileges. But we want to don't want every user authenticated on the Windows
server to try and use the application. Plan is to restrict only those Windows
OS accounts who basically will belong to the DBA group execute the application.
Now we don't have oracle db installed on the Windows server but Oracle
client/or ODBC will be used on the Windows server. How can we achieve this?
thanks
