I am not sure you can make that comnparison

What you can do is look at the 10G NF guide and see what it offers you that you can take advantage of that may be save your business lost time or money
If you are a greenfield site then 10G is a no brainer and if you are a 7/8i site then from a future support viewpoint 10g is the way to go again.


Of course from a DBA self-training perspective you want 10G don't you.

You can always set it 9i compatible if you had the inclination.
