Ujang,
If I was going to investigate CMAN, I would start by purchasing the book:
Oracle8i Networking 101 by Marlene Theriault
Even though this book is a little dated, I doubt that CMAN has changed much
recently (others may clarify that). Marlene has a knack for explaining
topics very clearly. After that, you should read the Oracle manual chapter
on CMAN.

all,
recently i have concurrent session (active+nonactive) around 8000
users, and shared server.
but sometimes i have stuck with some session, so that manual kill i
have to be done.
my thinking is how to use oracle connection manager (CMAN) and
dedicated server so that it will reduce the session + processes in the
database server, but need information for anyone who use CMAN, the
pros and cons......
thanks for the sharing...
