oracle CMAN

all,
recently i have concurrent session (active+nonactive) around 8000
users, and shared server.
but sometimes i have stuck with some session, so that manual kill i
have to be done.
my thinking is how to use oracle connection manager (CMAN) and
dedicated server so that it will reduce the session + processes in the
database server, but need information for anyone who use CMAN, the
pros and cons......
