Perhaps the author is thinking of hash-partitioning
of index organized tables - which I think appeared
only in 9.2

I'm studying for the 9i OCP upgrade and my book says that Hash Parititioning
was introduced in 9i? Is this correct? I could have swarn it was 8.0?
