What is (IP=FIRST) in listener.ora

Hi Rac gurus
Can somebody please let me know what is (IP=FIRST)
in a listener configuration
I am working on a 10g 1.0.3 rac here which is running
on HP itanium and i came across this
(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=10.20.191.101)(PORT=
1522)(IP = FIRST)))
(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=10.20.191.100)(PORT
= 1522)(IP = FIRST)))
Wondering what (IP=FIRST) means
Not able to get much information on this 
Please let me know
