They can be placed anywhere you want as can cell phones that also allow
video.
But we now know from studies that even hands free conversation on your
cell phone is JUST as bad as having it in your hand so what does that
say about having a conversation with a friend in the passenger seat
where you also have a visual??
We now know from studies that a teenager is ten times as likely to have
an accident if they have three friends in the car.
So how would you solve all this distractions?
Isn't it obvious? Eliminate cars. Funny how no one ever thinks of the
obvious. Cars kill 50,000 a year and maim how many? Eliminate alcohol
which accounts for half those deaths and another half million or so from
related crime and induced stupidity.
Or an even more obvious answer would be to exterminate terminally stupid
people. That would save a lot of lives.
