But can it do Windows Update and Office Update?

Back when, I used Netscape Navigator only. Then came Win95,
where if you happened to install IE, even if by mistake, you
were stuck with it. Then came Win98, with its built-in
Windows Update feature, an its built-in IE. It's been fine
all along to install Mozilla or anything else, but to make
use of teh Windows Update feature, unless something has
changed recently, you still need IE.

In any event, it appears that *any* browser with Active X is
vulnerable.

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at 
FreeLists.org 

- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
