I wonder if it's true that muscic lovers are "turning to vinyl in
droves," or whether that's just the small fraction who also buys vacuum
tube audio gear?

The arguments in this piece are predictable. The very same arguments
were made when "talkies" started to appear. Silent movies were more
involving.
