I have a Panasonic VHS VCR that can record the stereo main audio on the
video Hi-Fi tracks, and the SAP channel on a mono linear audio track.
When you play back your videotape, are you listening to the linear mono
track by mistake or design?

here in Las Vegas off cable and the SAP is exhibiting the problem I spoke
of earlier.
Let me know if the SAP is different than the main stereo channel.
