Surely, the "ina-air distance from lens mount to image
in a 2"/3 video camera is 4mm less (48mm) than in a
film camera (52mm), or at least that's what I
understand to be the truth. The difference between 3-
and 1-sensor cameras is that in a single sensor camera
the RGB images are all in the same plane, while in a
3-sensor camera the RGB images are at different
"in-air " distances, and those doistances bare
different for HDTV and SDTV.
