Okay, wait before you answer to mail last eMail - that's not really
sufficient, or even fits the problem very well.
We would need a way to enumerate all known types for a given partition
type, and even have the option of specifying one manually if needed.
The file system itself would need to have access to these fields on
initialization, i.e. the dosfs add-on would have to decide to
initialize a volume using FAT12/16/32 based on this value.
